Greetings..

This is my first Blogger post. Simple, rather boring, yet, it's something other than a blank page. Still hating the template I've decided on. I never knew how much the artwork of a blog meant to me until I found out how to customize Myspace pages. But, that's html, and though I have limited knowledge on just how to use it to customize that site, I'm at a complete loss when it comes to C++.

I've gone to a couple of sites that offer templates, but, it's like trying to go to Walmart to find the quintessential you. If you could find yourself in a store, your not really just yourself, you're everyone else, right?

So, what would my ideal Blogger page look like? Well, it certainly wouldn't be nice and tidy, that's for sure. I suppose it'd look like an old journal that was more or less a scrapbook. The pages would be tattered, pictures and notes would be shoved in here and there or else fastened end with an amazing versatility of fastening medium ranging from staples and glue to chewing gum. Ah, but the pictures would be fantastic and organized. A stark contrast from the journal in which they were encased.

And sketches randomly stuck here and there, as if they just occured to me and if I didn't stick them somewhere (like getting a number from an operator when you're still looking for a pen), I'd lose it.

I'm sure there'd be coffee rings from my mug, and a sprinkling of some baked goods smashed into the crease of the binding.

Perhaps in the corner of one of the tattered pages there'd be some sort of fractional diagram to help me explain the assignment I've given my oldest to do.

Yeah, I'd say that would be about right. A true picture of who I am.

My life is messy, not in relationships, but in time. But, it's punctuated with moments of clarity and tidiness. Though, in it's general messiness, it is an acurate portrayal of the life I lead--eclectic and haphazard, but full of all the good stuff in life.

Right down to the jelly doughnut crumbs in the binding....
